Position Overview

Division: Brannan Aggregates

Position: Heavy Equipment Operator- Aggregate Plant

Payrate: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Location: Fairplay, CO

To help us achieve that mission, we are looking for an experienced “Aggregate Plant Laborer”.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Plant Labor position will assist the Plant Operators in the day-to-day operations, which include but not limited to, maintaining a clean yard and work environment, sweeping, shoveling, cleaning up debris and trash.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done in a safe manner, with required overtime in peak season
Great work ethic, honesty and decisiveness with a positive attitude
Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
Good Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others team members
Must be able to lift 50#
HS, Diploma
Some knowledge of industry preferred
Front end loader experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:

Standing – 8 to 10 hours daily
• Walking – 8 to 10 hours daily
• Sitting – 8 to 10 hours daily
• Bending/Stooping – 8 to 10 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping) – 8 to 10 hours daily
• Lifting (weights up to 50 lbs.) – Occasionally
• Lift and Carry (50/60 lbs. for 20 feet) – Regularly
• Push / Pull – 8 to 10 hours daily

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities:

Assist Plant Operator with daily duties as requested in a timely manner
Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations
Keep plants clean and neat by shoveling and sweeping
Clean up trash and debris around plant and yard
Other duties as assigned
