Public Works Officials and Project Owner Reps Encouraged Participate in Upcoming Project Briefing Meetings Each fall and winter, the Colorado Contractors Association organizes project briefing meetings around the state to discuss infrastructure projects planned for the following year in different areas of the state. The purpose of the meetings is to bring infrastructure owners to- gether with contractors and suppliers to help ensure that upcoming construction projects are on the radar of the contracting community. The briefings cover the entire range of civil infrastructure projects: transportation (including road, bridge, airfield, trail and transit proj- ects), water and sewer (including pipe and plant projects), storm sewer and stormwater drainage projects, dams and reservoirs, etc. Through these meetings, local and statewide infrastructure contrac- tors typically have the opportunity to learn about upcoming projects from nearly 100 counties, municipalities, districts, consultant engi- neers serving as project owner representatives and CDOT residen- cies. The information is conveyed through a brief presentation and/or a written list of projects. We are always interested in adding more owners into the mix. If you haven’t attended but would like to know more, please contact me for more details. For those of you who have attended before, we appreciate your past support and hope to see you again this year. Finally, if there is a need to add meetings to parts of the state not currently being covered, let us know and we will work to organize a new meeting. Below is a list of our briefings to discuss 2020 projects.
